Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for more than 20 years. She received the best recognition for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). In 2015, she was in the character of Jerrica Jem in the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey was a performer with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her growing up. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class in 2012. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to let her into the university for an additional entry after she was chosen to play 'Nashville'. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played a prominent role in the Nashville series in which she was Layla Grant. Peeples talked about her bipolar illness during an interview she conducted to NKD Magazine. Indiewire included Peeples as one of the most popular performers under the age of twenty of age in September 2014.
